Hire rates are divided into, two Days (48 consecutive hours), three Days (72 consecutive hours) and Weekly (7 consecutive days) hire periods.
After the first week each day is charged at the Pro Rata Rate i.e. one seventh of the weekly rate.
Weekend hires are charged at the 2 Day rate.
Please note that hire charges apply 365 days a year.
Cancellation
Either party may terminate the contract without penalty, providing such cancellation is in writing and is received no less than 28 days from the date of the hire period. (You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting) In this case a full refund will be provided. Notice of less than 28 days a charge of 50% of the full hire will be charged. If subsequently WPH is able to re-hire the equipment the 50% charge may be waived at the Company's discretion and an administration fee of £5 charged.
Trade Accounts
Applications for a trading account are welcome
Minimum invoice charge is £50.00 and terms are strictly net monthly.
Invoices unpaid will accrue interest at a rate of 19% apr. and continue to do so until all outstanding monies are paid.
Deposits
All customers will be asked for a deposit upon booking of 25% of the total the equipment being hired. This may be either cash or a cheque supported by a valid cheque guarantee card.
Deposits will be fully returned once it has been checked that all hired goods have been returned in clean undamaged condition and all hire charges paid. (In the case of large orders the deposit may be kept up to 7 days after return of goods to enable goods to be checked) Please ensure you have photographic identity and a proof of address (e.g. driving licence, passport, student rail card etc.) available as we are unable to release goods for hire until identity has been proven.
Breakages including any damage will be charged at £2 per item plus the standard hire charge. Broken or damaged boxes will be charged at £5 per item.
A cleaning charge of £1 per item will be made for any items retuned in unwashed condition plus the standard hire charge
Delivery & Collection
We are happy to deliver and collect items for hire on the Isle of Wight for a nominal charge which can be arranged at the time of booking and will not exceed £15 each way for any order. Alternatively equipment may be collected at an arranged time. The responsibility and liability for the equipment remains with the hirer till the equipment is returned and the deposit returned. Return of deposit shall constitute the end of the hirers liability.
Conditions of Hire
All equipment is hired under the standard WPH Conditions of Hire.
Termination of Hire
It is the hirer’s responsibility to return equipment or notify us if it is to be collected. Equipment will otherwise be left on hire and charged for until returned to our premises.
Long Term / Corporate Hire
Special rates may be quoted upon request for long term and large numbers for Corporate and large event hire.

! Lifting Policy !
We advise you to take care when lifting heavy items such as boxes of plates. All items are packaged specifically to prevent damage in transit and to allow for a safe load when being lifted. The safe load is dependent upon the individual and should be assessed by you before you lift the boxes. Delivery will be to ground floor only unless by prior arrangement. For your safety and ours please repackage crockery in the same way as they are provided.
